GEMINI: The Sacred Art of Communication


With the entrance of the Sun in Gemini the cycle of the year confidently glides through its luminous path, embracing the gift of healing connections and sacred communication. Shamanic spirituality involves being, and learning to be, at one with all aspects of reality. It promotes the constant realisation that it is not possible to exist in isolation. 
The greatest human plague is the tragedy of separation, being unable to connect with others, failing to express our true feelings and understand those of others. This is biblically depicted by the story of the tower of Babel, when confusion of language occurred among people and mankind forgot how to speak from the heart.
While it is painful that we are frequently unable to openly communicate with others and vice versa, it is even more painful that we seem not to understand ourselves, and connect with who we truly are.

The Lovers - Gemini: Astroshamanic Voyage into the Tarot (by Franco Santoro)

 At first sight the Lovers, for most folks, tend to provide a delightful feeling, which is inevitably associated with love stories. Since such themes rank number one in mundane cartomancy or fortune-telling, this trump obviously enjoys a first-class reputation. Yet, despite its romantic correlations, the card emphasises transparency, innocence and sacredness in relationships of any kind, including those having nothing to do with conventional love affairs.
The quality of a pure and sanctified relationship is particularly portrayed in the Rider Waite Tarot. Here there is a Garden of Eden setting, a trinity, where a man and a woman, unveiled, are presided and blessed by the angel Raphael (associated with Air and Mercury) standing with open wings. The Sun is shining at the zenith, while in the bottom foreground stands a mount, and at the sides, behind the man and woman, the Tree of Life with twelve fruits and the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil with the snake.

Consultations and AstroshamanicHealing® Sessions
How do they work and how to arrange them.
Sessions typically last 60 minutes and can be in-person or distant (over the phone or Skype).
A distance session is preceded by a preliminary astroshamanic exploration of the astrological chart pursued by the facilitator through a shamanic journey or other healing techniques. The session itself starts with a brief chat aimed at clarifying the intention or issue of the client, followed by a series of shamanic practices and a successive chat aimed at examining what emerged during the practice, identifying healing tools, receiving guidance, etc.
Each session is geared according to the current situation and intent of the client. The aim is to focus on prominent issues, both from an ordinary and multidimensional perspective, releasing grievances, while uncovering authentic talents and finding empowering guidance.
The session is also aimed at identifying a series of empowering and healing practices and remedies that the client can use for a certain amount of time (usually one month) in order to support and implement what has emerged during the session.
If the client finds it helpful, it is also possible to have additional sessions.
Fees for a in-person or distant session (60 minutes) are income related: Euro 50 or £ 45 (low), Euro 60 or £ 55 (medium), Euro 70 or £ 65 (high). Bursaries and concessions are available. Sessions are offered by Franco Santoro (in English, French, Italian and Spanish).

Highly Sensitive Person (HSP)

 

Highly sensitive person (HSP) is a term coined by Dr. Elaine N. Aron in 1996 for describing a person having the innate trait of high psychological sensitivity. These people, including about a fifth of the population, tend to process sensory data much more deeply and thoroughly due to a biological difference in their neurological system. A HSP can show most non-ordinary levels of sensitivity in the physiological, altered states of perception and multidimensional realms. These features are also identified in the New Age jargon as "Indigo Children", "Walk Ins", "Crystal Children" and other categories. From a holistic perspective a HSP may be a potential energy healer or shaman, with the function of retrieving fragmented soul parts and bridging the gap between the human separated reality and the web of life.

Be Who God Meant You to Be and You Will Set the World on Fire (Royal Wedding Sermon)

 

In front of an audience of around two billion viewers, Richard Chartres, Bishop of London, delivered a most inspiring and holistic sermon at the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton on 29 April 2011. The first quote is by St Catherine of Siena, one of the two patron saints of Italy, together with Francis of Assisi. 29 April, the day of the Royal Wedding, is the festival day of St Catherine of Siena. It is also as close as the royal couple could technically get to Beltane, the ancient Celtic festival.
"At Beltane the King mated with the Earth Goddess in order to ensure the ongoing fertility of the land. In ritual, a man would be chosen to play the part of the King, the steward of the land, and a woman would play the part of the Earth Goddess, the soul of the land. Thus temporal power, physical work and responsibility are united with intuitive knowledge and spiritual understanding. This metaphorical union is found cross-culturally: in Buddhism we have the yolking of masculine and feminine described as that of skillful means and wisdom (upaya and prajna); in medieval alchemy we see it in the marriage of the Red King and the White Queen."
